Introduction
When designing an InfoSeal form, printed registration marks
are required. These registration marks include:
- Fold Marks
- Window Marks
- Glue Tab Marks
- Document Cut Off Marks
- Perforation Marks
- Timing Marks
Fold Mark Requirements
One pair of fold marks is required for each document fold.
They are printed at a 30% screen in the vertical glue line
(on the glue side of the document). They are generally repeated
on the glue-side and non-glue side of the form.

Window Mark Requirements
Registration marks are required on all patched on windows.
They are 1/16" in length and are printed at a 30% screen.
Windows require one (1) mark on the left and ride side of
the window and (2) marks at the top and bottom.

Glue Tab Mark Requirements
Corner shaped registration marks are required for each
glue tab. They are 1/16" in length and are printed at
a 30% screen. One (1) mark is placed in the lower left-hand
corner and the other is placed in the upper right-hand corner.

Document Cut Off Mark Requirements
One marks is required one each document to indicate the beginning
of each form. Marks are on the right side at a 30% screen
measuring ¼" in length and 1/64" in thickness.
They are generally repeated on the glue-side and non-glue
side of the form.

Perforation Mark Requirements
One pair of registration marks are required for each perforation.
These marks are placed at the beginning and ending of each
linear perforation. They are 1/16" in length and are
printed at a 30% screen. They are generally repeated on the
glue-side and non-glue side of the form.

Timing Mark Requirements
One timing mark is required for each press circumference (every
17", 22" or 28"). This mark measures 3/8"
x ¼" and is placed in the pin-feed area of the
document. The timing mark is printed in the darkest ink color
of the document and has a reflectivity of 0.74.
